 Swingin' from the Bay Area, Steve Lucky and his Rumba Bums have 

one of the best sounds in the swing scene. Ironically, it isn't a swing 

sound at all, but a fast paced, high-energy jump blues. Their cd, 

"Come Out Swingin'!"  available on Rumpus Records doesn't have a 

bad track on it. My favorites are  "Daddy-o," "Where's my Gravy," and 

the clever "Down Boy." 

If you like their album, you'll love them live. Carmen Getit, the band's 

lead guitarist and vocalist and Steve Lucky, keyboardist and vocalist 

play off each other wonderfully.  They even take time out to dance 

together among the audience while the other band members play on. 

Their on and off stage energy puts the best dancer to shame.
